Langkah-langkahnya mereset Printer Canon MP 145 yaitu pada Kode Error E16 atau Reset Waste Ink Counter adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Matikan tombol power (tombol power dalam), Tahan tekan STOP / RESET kemudian tekan tombol ON / OFF.
2. Tahan tombol ON / OFF, pencet Tombol STOP / RESET sebanyak 2 kali
3. lepaskan kedua tombol dan printer berada pada SERVICE MODE
4. Printer dalam keadaan Charging Printer
5. Setelah selesai Charging, tekan tombol STOP / RESET sebanyak 4 kali.
6. Perlu diingat Setiap kali Anda menekan tombol STOP / RESET, pada lampu ON / OFF berubah hijau dan oranye.
7. Matikan printer dan cabut kabel power printer.
8. Hidupkan printer kembali.

Versi Bahasa Inggris :

1. Start with printer off
2. Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click “Power” button. green led should be on
3. While holding the Power button, release the Resume Button.
4. Without releasing the Power Button, click “Resume” button for two times and release Both Buttons.
5. Click “Resume” for four times then soon click “Power” button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
6. Turn off the printer and turn on again

Versi Bahasa Indonesia :

1. Posisi Printer dimulai dalam ke adaan mati
2. Tekan dan tahan tombol "Resume" (tombol segitiga dalam lingkaran) dan pencet tombol. Lampu Hijau pada Printer akan menyala.
3. Sambil memegang tombol Power, Lepaskan Tombol Resume.
4. Tanpa melepaskannya Tombol Power, pencet tombol resume dua kali dan lepaskan kedua Tombol yaitu tombol power dan tombil resume.
5. Pencet Tombolresume empat kali kemudian pencet tombol Power, untuk mengkonfirmasi ulang printer (ulang counter breker).
6. Matikan printer dan hidupkan lagi
   

Selesai .....
Printer anda normal kembali.

1. Matikan printer
2. Tahan Tombol Resume kemudian tekan dan tahan Tombol Power, terdengar suara beep satu kali.
3. Tahan POWER dan lepaskan Resume
4. Tekan dua kali Resume
5. Bila lampu indikator stabil, tekan Resume tiga (3) kali. Indikator harus berwarna orange.
6. Tekan Power untuk mengatur data
